Why a Collagen Bar?
Collagen hydrolysate provides us with the amino acids glycine, proline and hydroxyproline. We need these for our body's synthesis of collagen – the most important structural protein in bones, cartilage, teeth, tendons, ligaments and skin.
During the production of collagen hydrolysate, complex proteins are broken down into shorter protein chains – so-called peptides. These enter the bloodstream via specific transporters and stimulate the activity of cells to build collagen. Such as chondrocytes in cartilage or fibroblasts in skin.
What distinguishes our Collagen Bar Dark Chocolate Almond?
In our Collagen Bar we use SOLUGEL™ collagen from cattle raised on Argentine pasture. In addition to a high protein content of 30%, the protein bar is also characterised by a high fibre content. Since we only use some maltitol, tapioca syrup and erythritol for sweetening, it is also low in sugar.
